Sage Copilot

Sage has just launched a revolutionary tool designed to transform how accountants interact with their daily tasks: Sage Copilot.

This innovative tool is interactive through a button on the Sage taskbar, connected to a generative artificial intelligence (GenAI) assistant with which users can interact using natural language. This novelty is available in several features on the Sage platform, including practice management, compliance and payroll processing functions. Sage Copilot can perform a variety of tasks, such as automating client onboarding, simplifying tax preparation processes, or ensuring that a payroll bureau has all the information needed to complete a pay cycle, all through short written commands or ‘prompts’.

Although it is still in early testing, the rollout of Sage Copilot will begin with Sage’s accounting products and will then be expanded to Sage 50 and other products.

Sage Pilot will speed up the tax return process and even improve efficiency in managing unpaid invoices and cash flow forecasts. In addition, the system is able to review documents automatically and even assign tasks to other users within an accounting practice.

This launch not only underlines Sage’s commitment to innovation and the continuous improvement of accounting processes, but also reinforces the potential of generative artificial intelligence to turn routine tasks into more efficient, less time-consuming processes, allowing professionals to concentrate on higher-value activities.
