The operation strengthens the group’s presence in Catalonia and delivers on its growth-through-acquisitions strategy in the Spanish market
The Portuguese technology group INCENTEA is strengthening its presence in Spain with the integration of I2T Consultoria i Solucions Tecnològiques, a consulting and technology solutions company based in Manresa, Catalonia. The operation is another step in the growth and internationalization strategy that INCENTEA has been accelerating, with Spain as one of the group’s main expansion markets.
Entering Catalonia allows INCENTEA to strengthen its presence in one of Spain’s main business and technology hubs, adding local market knowledge, skills and a consolidated customer portfolio. The operation complements the presence the group has been building in the country and contributes to the goal of gaining scale and strengthening its position in the Iberian market.
The integration of I2T comes at a time when INCENTEA’s growth-through-acquisitions strategy is accelerating. In March of this year, the group announced that it had four operations under evaluation in the Spanish market, after completing three significant operations in 2025 and strengthening its presence in Spain. In February 2026, it integrated Dragomar, a business management software company based in Almería.
This growth strategy through acquisitions aims to gain scale, bring in new skills, diversify the offering and accelerate internationalization. In 2025, INCENTEA reached 24 million euros in revenue, 5.4% more than the previous year, with international activity accounting for around 25% of billing. The group has been aiming for consistent double-digit growth and has set a goal of doubling revenue by 2027.
Expansion in Spain therefore plays a central role in building an operation with greater Iberian scale, through the integration of companies with knowledge of local markets and complementary skills. INCENTEA has been strengthening its presence in the country through a growth approach based on both organic expansion and the acquisition and integration of companies.
