INCENTEA joins the 2026 Reference Group of the COTEC-CAIXA Innovation for Sustainability Award

National recognition distinguishes commitment to innovation and sustainability.

INCENTEA was distinguished by COTEC Portugal with inclusion in the 2026 Reference Group of the COTEC-CAIXA Innovation for Sustainability Award, an initiative that recognizes Portuguese organizations that stand out for their ability to create sustainable economic value through innovation, management excellence and the incorporation of ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) practices.

This distinction places INCENTEA among a select group of national companies considered references in how they integrate innovation and sustainability into their strategic decisions, reinforcing the organization’s positioning as an active agent in digital transformation and in the sustainable development of the business fabric.

Recognition based on excellence and organizational maturity

INCENTEA’s selection as a semifinalist results from the combination of two highly relevant factors: the award of INOVADORA Evolution status and an outstanding performance in the ESG-Caixa rating.

The COTEC-CAIXA Innovation for Sustainability Award

Promoted by COTEC Portugal in partnership with Caixa Geral de Depósitos, the Innovation for Sustainability Award aims to identify, assess and distinguish organizations that stand out for the consistent integration of innovation and sustainability into their business models.

More than a distinction, this initiative seeks to encourage a culture of strategic decision-making based on data, long-term vision and the ability to adapt to the economic, social and environmental challenges that mark today’s business context.

The 2026 Reference Group is made up of 44 Portuguese companies selected for their relevance and performance in these dimensions, serving as a basis for comparison and benchmarking for the analysis of organizational maturity and decision quality.

An instrument to support strategic development

As part of this participation, INCENTEA received the evolved version of the decision maturity analysis report developed by COTEC Portugal.

This new edition reinforces the usefulness of the report as a benchmarking and strategic management support tool, providing a more integrated view of INCENTEA’s positioning relative to the other organizations in the 2026 Reference Group.

The analysis makes it possible to identify more clearly the areas of excellence, the potential vectors for improvement and the deviations from its peers, complementing this assessment with a systemic reading of the different dimensions of decision maturity.

The report also includes an executive summary and a set of guiding recommendations, designed to support the organization’s development and strengthen its decision-making capacity in increasingly demanding and complex contexts.
