December 9, 2025

Secretary of State for Finance Alcindo Mota officially opened the celebration of INCENTEA’s 18 years in Cape Verde last Friday, November 14, highlighting the company’s importance in the country’s digital transformation and in strengthening public and private organizations.

In his speech, Alcindo Mota underlined that INCENTEA’s trajectory is a clear example of how technological innovation and sector knowledge can support the digital transformation journey in our country. “Your work, which offers solutions adjusted to the reality of businesses, with close, specialized, results-oriented support, has been crucial for the modernization of business management.”

The Secretary of State for Finance said that the Government recognizes that digital transformation is not a luxury but a fundamental necessity for sustainable growth, stressing that, to move forward, Cape Verde needs tailored solutions and leading technologies that span everything from integrated management to infrastructure, security and cloud.

Speaking about public institutions, the Secretary of State stressed the importance of exemplary management, especially when it comes to entities that handle public funds, noting that the Public Sector, one of INCENTEA’s key sectors, faces unavoidable challenges that demand quality of service, rigor, transparency and sustainability. “Solutions that ensure efficient management and data-based decisions are vital to ensure the transparency and rigorous scrutiny that our modus operandi demands,” he said, recalling that INCENTEA has shown a commitment to helping optimize processes in complex areas such as healthcare.

The theme of the celebration, “Strong Partnerships, Innovative Synergies”, sums up the Government’s vision, said Alcindo Mota, highlighting that INCENTEA’s sustainable growth in Cape Verde is only possible through close collaboration with public and private institutions and strategic partners.

“INCENTEA, with its 38 years of global history, its presence in 8 countries and its vast number of customers, brings not only technology but also deep knowledge of each sector. That experience is fundamental. It is with this sharing of knowledge and with inspiration and business knowledge that we can drive our future,” the official said.

The Secretary of State called for this anniversary to be seen as “a new starting point”, encouraging the company to keep supporting the digital expansion of companies and institutions.

Alcindo Mota concluded by congratulating INCENTEA and stating that the company’s mission of turning technology into value is synonymous with the Government’s goal of building a more efficient, more transparent and more competitive Cape Verde.
