Grupo Valco is a company in the wood sector that integrates everything from forestry and felling to transport and processing through to the final product.
The Client
The company covers about 70,000 m2, employs 150 people and has a turnover of about 20 million euros.
With its commitment to company-wide investment to establish itself as a reference in Industry 4.0, Grupo Valco trusted INCENTEA Wide to develop technology tools, such as Sage X3 software, which gave it reliable insights into costs and the performance of the stages of its business, tailored to the company’s preferences and workflow on a secure cloud platform with mobile access to data.
The Challenge
In 2008, all the companies that were part of Valco were integrated into a single group, Grupo Valco. The challenge of having different IT systems in each of the organizations led Grupo Valco to look for a unified solution that would meet international constraints, simplifying compliance with the various currencies, regions, languages and regulations.
