Operationally, the company struggled with production planning and stock management, which called for a solution capable of closing the gap between administration and the shop floor, with the assurance of rigorous control of inventory and costs.

The solution implemented brought about a deep transformation, by fully integrating financial management and fixed assets with perpetual inventory data, ensuring that the accounting accurately reflects the real state of stock.

This digital ecosystem was strategically extended to the shop floor, establishing a direct link between the ERP and production, which enabled continuous monitoring of flows and control of the manufacturing process in progress.
Logistics efficiency was also strengthened through automation, with the native integration of Kardex robotic warehouses with Sage X3. The process significantly optimized the flow of materials throughout the industrial unit.
The results
The transition to Sage X3 boosted STA’s operational efficiency, through real-time data collection on the shop floor, which enables immediate adjustments in the management of resources and processes.
This modernization resolved historical gaps in planning and stock control and ensured significantly more accurate inventory and asset management.
With the support of Business Intelligence tools, management now has key strategic KPIs for fast, informed decision-making about the business.
