Customized solutions, strategic Partnerships, training and adaptability position the Portuguese company as a benchmark Partner
by Marta Quaresma Ferreira

With almost 40 years of history, what was then Leirisic, in 1987, would become INCENTEA in 2003, in a year marked by the start of the organization’s growth process, which culminated in the integration of other companies and businesses. With a strategic positioning guided by greater closeness to the customer and by fostering a relationship of trust and Partnership, INCENTEA seeks to position itself as a “benchmark player in the business solutions sector”. The approach, underpinned by a commitment to continuous innovation, ensures that the organization’s offerings “keep pace with global technology trends and anticipate market demands”, says Luís Barreiro, INCENTEA Board Member.

INCENTEA’S ‘HEART’
The core of the business lies in Business Consulting and Management Information Systems – ERP, CRM, MES, among others – in support of organizations’ digital transformation. Another differentiating factor of the organization, notes Luís Barreiro, is the development of vertical applications, “designed to the specific needs of each sector”, without forgetting the commitment to IT infrastructure and security. “We invest heavily in the ongoing training of our teams, in building strategic Partnerships with the main international manufacturers and in adopting agile methodologies that ensure greater efficiency and speed of response. We believe that INCENTEA’s success results from a combination of technological innovation, operational excellence and a solid organizational culture centered on valuing people and on collaboration,” Luís Barreiro reiterates.

SUCCESS BEYOND BORDERS
With more than 350 professionals, the company operates in eight countries – Portugal, Spain, France, Brazil, Angola, Mozambique, Cape Verde and São Tomé and Príncipe. In 2024 it reported revenue of around 23 million euros, with 32% coming from international operations. For 2025 the forecast points to growth and to a doubling of turnover by 2028.

SOLUTIONS THAT ARE REFLECTED IN PARTNERSHIPS AND BUSINESS
INCENTEA’s solutions, characterized by a “high capacity for customization”, are conceived and designed for the most diverse contexts: from industry to the retail and distribution sector, including healthcare and services. “Across the board, there is clearly growing demand for cloud solutions, driven by the need to ensure scalability, mobility, reduced operating costs and secure access to information,” says Luís Barreiro, stressing the company’s investment in integrated cybersecurity solutions that enhance process automation and advanced data analysis. Cegid, Microsoft, Sage and SAP are some of the established Partnerships, with an offering of “robust, flexible platforms that adapt to the requirements of each industry”, explains Luís Barreiro. On the technology infrastructure side, HPE, Sophos and Alcatel are also among the reference manufacturers. This ecosystem of strategic Partnerships, Luís Barreiro underlines, makes it possible to “closely follow the latest technology trends, access specialized resources and know-how and ensure an agile and effective response to our customers’ needs”.

THE FUTURE IS WRITTEN TODAY
Looking to the coming years, the company has already drawn up an “ambitious and clearly outlined” Strategic Plan, with the central goal of doubling the size of the company in three years. Growth is based on two complementary strands, namely organic growth, with the expansion of current activity and development of solutions, but also growth through the acquisition and integration of other companies, a process that is already under way.
