Customized solutions, strategic Partnerships, training, and adaptability position the Portuguese company as a benchmark Partner
by Marta Quaresma Ferreira
With almost 40 years of history, what was then Leirisic in 1987 became INCENTEA in 2003, a year that marked the start of the organization’s growth process, which culminated in the integration of other companies and businesses. With a strategic positioning guided by closeness to the customer and by fostering a relationship of trust and Partnership, INCENTEA seeks to position itself as a “benchmark player in the business solutions sector.” This approach, underpinned by a commitment to continuous innovation, ensures that the organization’s offerings “follow global technology trends and anticipate market demands,” says Luís Barreiro, Board Member at INCENTEA.
THE ‘HEART’ OF INCENTEA
The core of the business lies in Business Consulting and Management Information Systems – ERP, CRM, MES, among others – supporting organizations’ digital transformation. Another differentiating factor for the organization, notes Luís Barreiro, is the development of vertical applications, “designed to the specific needs of each sector,” without forgetting its commitment to IT infrastructure and security. “We invest heavily in the continuous training of our teams, in building strategic Partnerships with the main international manufacturers, and in adopting agile methodologies that ensure greater efficiency and faster response. We believe INCENTEA’s success comes from a combination of technological innovation, operational excellence, and a solid organizational culture centered on valuing people and collaboration,” Luís Barreiro reiterates.
SUCCESS BEYOND BORDERS
With more than 350 professionals, the company operates in eight countries – Portugal, Spain, France, Brazil, Angola, Mozambique, Cape Verde, and São Tomé and Príncipe. In 2024 it reported revenue of around 23 million euros, with 32% coming from international operations. For 2025, the forecast points to growth and a doubling of turnover by 2028.
SOLUTIONS THAT PAY OFF IN PARTNERSHIPS AND IN BUSINESS
INCENTEA’s solutions, characterized by a “high capacity for customization,” are conceived and designed for the most diverse contexts: from industry, to commerce and distribution, to healthcare and services. “Across the board, there is clearly growing demand for cloud solutions, driven by the need to ensure scalability, mobility, lower operating costs, and secure access to information,” says Luís Barreiro, underscoring the company’s investment in integrated cybersecurity solutions that enable process automation and advanced data analytics. Cegid, Microsoft, Sage, and SAP are some of its established Partnerships, offering “robust, flexible platforms adaptable to the demands of each industry,” explains Luís Barreiro. In technology infrastructure, HPE, Sophos, and Alcatel are also among the leading manufacturers. This ecosystem of strategic Partnerships, Luís Barreiro stresses, makes it possible to “closely follow the latest technology trends, access specialized resources and know-how, and ensure an agile and effective response to our customers’ needs.”
THE FUTURE IS WRITTEN TODAY
Looking ahead to the coming years, the company has already drawn up an “ambitious and clearly outlined” Strategic Plan, with the central goal of doubling the size of the company in three years. Growth rests on two complementary strands: organic growth, through expanding current activity and developing solutions, and growth through the acquisition and integration of other companies, a process that is already under way.
