Leading the future of intelligent management.
The Cegid Partner Summit 2026, held at the iconic Centro de Congressos da Alfândega do Porto on September 15, 2026, was the epicenter of technological innovation applied to management. It brought together the best of the Cegid ecosystem, with more than 800 technology partners and industry professionals, for a day of sharing, strategic vision and presentations of the latest innovations shaping the future of technology and Artificial Intelligence.
The INCENTEA team was present with an exhibition space and at the sessions, closely following an agenda full of major technology announcements aimed at accelerating the competitiveness of small and medium-sized businesses.
INCENTEA’s participation also included international representation, with the heads of operations for Angola, Mozambique and Cape Verde in attendance, reinforcing the group’s strategic vision and its commitment to following technological developments and innovation opportunities in the different markets where it operates.
Portugal as a center of excellence and the new era of AI
The event highlighted the strategic relevance of Portugal within the Cegid group. The country now acts not only as a priority market, but as a true innovation platform and center of excellence in Artificial Intelligence, from which global technical support is provided to leading international brands such as Hermès and L’Oréal.
Throughout the various talks, the message was reinforced that the market is at a decisive turning point. The evolution toward increasingly intelligent and autonomous management systems is already a reality within reach of Portuguese SMEs.
AI has moved beyond being merely a content-generation tool and is evolving into autonomous agents capable of acting directly on business processes. The next step points to Intelligent/Goal-Driven AI, in which systems will act guided by objectives, with greater autonomy and capacity for initiative.
Cegid Pulse: real productivity gains
The major technology highlight of the event was Cegid Pulse and its integration with Cegid ERP Evolution. Several indicators were presented demonstrating the impact of this technology on operational efficiency.
The use of virtual agents and Cegid Pulse tripled visits to the support forum, autonomously answering 60% of the questions asked, with an 80% usefulness rate. In parallel, there was a 9% reduction in average time per case, a 30% increase in the capacity of junior technicians, and a significant decrease in the time needed to diagnose internal incidents, from two to three hours to about 30 minutes.
As highlighted by Tiago Costa Lima, Product Strategy Director at Cegid Portugal, the goal is to deliver AI that is “invisible” to the user but has a highly measurable impact on results. The system can take on complex tasks, such as bank reconciliations or month-end close simulations, allowing professionals to focus their efforts on higher-value decisions.
Parallel sessions
Throughout the Cegid Partner Summit, INCENTEA attended several sessions dedicated to strengthening the solutions portfolio, namely Cegid PHC, Cegid Primavera and Eye Peak.
Among the specialized solutions, the highlights were Cegid Docs & Document AI, with over 90% accuracy in the automatic reading and posting of invoices; Cegid Fiscal Automation, prepared for the transition to mandatory electronic invoicing planned for 2027; and Eye Peak, which presented new mobile terminals and features designed to optimize warehouse management and logistics operations.
An inspirational moment: “The scarcest resource is attention”
One of the most memorable moments of the event was delivered by Professor Luís Filipe Reis, a faculty member at Porto Business School and FEP, who offered a particularly relevant reflection on leadership and management:
“In today’s organizations, the scarcest resource is not time, it is attention. Management’s great responsibility is to build differentiation and to have the courage to say ‘no’ to whatever does not add value.”
Luís Filipe Reis argued that every strategic decision should have a direct impact on creating value for the customer or increasing operational efficiency, or else risk falling into the illusion of movement without results.
New visual identity: “Own What’s Next”
Diana Silva, Head of Marketing, presented the renewal of the Cegid brand identity. Keeping the blue color and the original logo, the brand is evolving toward more human, modern and approachable communication, with real photography, dynamic visual elements and a new typeface.
The transformation is embodied in the brand’s new global signature, “Own What’s Next,” reinforcing Cegid’s ambition to lead the future of management starting from the present.
The launch of the AI Transformation Award was also announced, a distinction designed to recognize the partners responsible for the Artificial Intelligence projects with the greatest impact and added value for their customers.
INCENTEA among Cegid’s top 3 New Business partners
INCENTEA was recognized by Cegid as one of its three largest New Business partners, a ranking that reflects the organization’s ability to generate growth, win new customers and drive digital transformation projects with high market impact.
INCENTEA’s participation in the Cegid Partner Summit 2026 once again reflects its commitment to helping companies adopt useful, secure technology focused on concrete results.
